Raw Ingredients (part 1)

Any good discussion on my Zaanti Aromatherapy products starts with the raw ingredients. Today, we will talk about the soap.

The base of all of my soaps has 3 main organic ingredients, coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil. Why those oils?

Coconut oil serves as a protective layer on the skin, great for moisturizing and creates the best lather.

Olive oil has a great nourishing and conditioning effect on the skin.

Castor oil is thick, excellent for smoothing the skin as well as adding a protective layer. It also helps stabalize the soap itself, creating a rich, creamy lather.

These 3 oils together create a nice, hard bar of soap that lathers like a dream, moisturizes your skin, lasts about a month, and does not get mushy.

To this base, we add the essential oils and powders that make up each individual soap. More on that tomorrow.
